We think and act sustainably
Caring for the environment is one of our corporation’s core values. We take an active part in safeguarding the livelihood of us all. We strive to conserve natural resources and work continually towards optimizing the environmental performance of our products and materials and how they are used, as well as implementing ecological production and distribution processes. We offer environmentally friendly solutions that comply with local environmental law.

Green thinking and action is a tradition at GF Piping Systems. Climate change and a clean drinking water supply are key ecological issues that the world urgently needs to deal with.

What added value do our products offer? Plastics are “greener“ than metals. ABS, PB, PVC-C and PVC-U have a better environmental performance than quality steel and copper.

The completely pre-insulated COOL-FIT system for secondary cooling and freezing applications is a good example of our energy-saving solutions. It combines ecological and economical benefits.

The world faces major challenges in regard to energy. The rapidly rising consumption of energy and the finite nature of fossil fuels are a few of the topics which business, society and politics need to contend with.

Our Clean Water Foundation, established in 2002, sponsors numerous projects throughout the world aimed at supplying people sustainably with clean drinking water.
